Wearable Art 11/28-12/2

Students will work on the copper dwelling assignment.  Polymer clay will need to be baked by the end of this week.  Projects will be turned in next week ready to be worn.

2/D - 3/D ART 11/28-12/2

Students are working on etching and printing this week.    An edition of 12 prints will be turned in next week.

ADV ART 11/28-12/2

Painting on the styrofoam project this week.    Goal for the end of the week is to have the bathroom project completely painted, and ready for installation.
Students should have a color sketch to turn in and discuss on Monday morning.

Art I 11/21-11/22

Students are working on self-portrait drawings.   We will work through next week, before beginning with color theory.
Sketchbook this week is due on Tuesday.  The assignment requires a printed "famous artwork" labeled with the title, artist, date, and description.  With 3 facts about the piece.

Wearable Art 11/21-11/22

Wearable students should be done with woodblock printing at this point.  We are working on polymer clay house pendants this week.  Students will clean and prepare copper tubing and then attach clay to create a miniature dwelling.

2/D - 3/D ART 11/21-11/22

Students will receive a sheet of plexiglas and begin engraving today!    We will print next week.

Adv. Art Nov. 21 - 22

This week the progress will be for styrofoam pieces to be primed with white house paint by the 22nd and ready for painting next week.     Next week we have the tentative date for the PSU class to visit on Thursday the 1st of Dec.  All Advanced students will be required to be present from 2:30- 4:00 on this day.

Art I 11/7-11/11

Turn in perspective drawings on Tuesday.  Take photographs on Tues and Wed for self-portrait drawing.  Wed. learn how to set up a grid for enlargement.

Wearable Art 11/7-11/12

Wed. altered books are due, 2 spreads- woodblock print and 5 dwelling designs
Students need to bring a shirt to print on for Tuesday

2/D - 3/D ART 11/7-11/11

study begins on engraving and organic design.
Critiques turned in on Monday.
Students need to bring natural objects by wed for points.

ADV ART 11/7-11/11

Continuing to work on styrofoam forms........  by the end of this week, all structures should be assembled and ready for sanding!
